Wat een eer! Ik mocht vrouwelijke politieke leiders van over de hele wereld toespreken in het Europees Parlement. Mijn boodschap was dan ook universeel.
"We, women, have voices. We are using them. And more than ever, our voices are heard.
Women should be heard in Ukraine. We should be heard in Brussels. And we should be heard from every national parliament to every local council.
Today, we will once again prove the usefulness and necessity of this.
Together, we’ll create greater equality, work towards freedom, and to a better tomorrow."
